So I apparently have not figured out how to set up my iWeb to my liking, so after much persuasion from my good friend Richard Noel aka "Dick Christmas", I have decided to start blogging once again.....for none other reason that to have a place to throw my ramblings against a wall for me to later reflect on.
As of this moment, which for the record is Sunday, 10:48am on December 28th 2008, I am home sick. I took pride in the fact that I have yet to call into work sick. That is until today. There was no way for me to go to work and actively contribute. I would have proceeded to get co-workers sick and or made myself worse.
A few weeks ago, a co-worker posted a Facebook status that said "Bri is off work. Now what?". And I immediately laughed, but then the sad reality hit me....I ask myself that EVERY time I leave work. Never more so than these last few days here at the house while I've been sick. I am anxious to get better, just to go back to work!!
First off: Do I love what I do so much, that I choose work over personal endeavors?
Good question, being that I have started using things from work to ensure that my personal life runs smoother. The 3A's especially. I have noticed that the quality time I do have, I keep thinking I could be doing something "for a much greater good". I have seriously considered donating my time to a charity, or a good cause.
So, in turn, I think it's time that I put together my list of New Years Resolutions. And for me, these are actual things I take seriously. I'm going to ponder these resolutions and post my list tomorrow sometime. I plan on having resolutions that my friends can help me achieve. It's nice to know you have friends you can trust to help in achieving your goals.
